The smooth transition from primary school to secondary school is the foundation to an enjoyable and meaningful college life.

Even before they enroll, visits and information from the College to local primary schools help grade six students become familiar with the teachers and the college.

All Grade 6 teachers are visited by college staff to ensure that student needs and requirements are known prior to the commencement of Year 7. And, once enrolled, parent contact with teachers who know their child well is an important part of the Year 7 support.

We also conduct an activity program during Term 1 to help in the transition process. Conducted by the Home Group teacher for each class, the program includes classroom activities, pastoral sessions, and whole year level sporting activities.

Students are also encouraged to attend the Term 1 camp with activities designed to enable them to get to know their classmates as well as students from other classes.
