Of the highest priority is helping each student find their pathway to a rewarding fruitful working life.

All students have career counseling available through the team of four teachers involved in Career Education. All Year 10 students study a one semester subject, Work Education, to assist them with goal-setting and planning of appropriate pathways towards further education, training or employment.

Our careers teachers play a vital role and are available to parents and students to give advice on:

  • Choice of careers
  • Work Experience
  • Vocational counseling
  • School-based apprenticeships
  • Subjects needed for particular careers
  • University and TAFE courses
  • Employment opportunities

Being a major metropolitan secondary college, we can provide your child with many pathways to rewarding employment, whether it be through university, TAFE or vocational education.

Over 21 per cent of our VCE students enroll at university, around 35 per cent enroll in TAFE or VET and close to 6 per cent take up apprenticeships and training.
