Year 7 & 8 A sence of belonging and peer support - Year 7 Trasition We create a sense of belonging and peer support for these important transition years. Enabling new students to develop skills and recognise their strengths prior to specialising in particular subjects later in secondary school is a key feature of years 7 and 8. Access to a broad range of subjects ensures they receive a comprehensive introduction to all learning areas offered within the college. The Junior School program contains a mixture of full year and semester based subjects. Students are able to choose one elective subject in Year 7 and two elective subjects in Year 8. All students undertake the core subjects of English (ESL), Mathematics, Studies of Society and Environment, Science, Language, Health & Physical Education. The Year 7 and 8 curriculum includes the following subjects: - English (plus English as a second language)
