Languages at RDSC
The study of languages is valued within school curriculums across Australia.
The study of a second language not only benefits the individual but also the school community in many ways:
- an understanding and appreciation of other societies
- awareness and respect of ones heritage
- social and cultural interaction
At RDSC it is our aim to prepare students for a world which is global in its outlook and influences:
- local/community - interacting with immediate family, neighbours and participating in cultural events
- state/national - using language in social and workplace environments
- international - keeping abreast of world events
