The school teams of Darebin, Plenty, Merri and Yarra provide opportunity to build comradery and friendships with students and teachers throughout the school.
The team system ensures that students have a limited number of different teachers during their four years in the junior school and that the Team Manager and Leader are aware of all student needs.
Each student is placed in a Team. The names and colours of the Teams are:

The Teams are named after local waterways. The Darebin, Merri and Plenty rivers flow into the Yarra River, just as students from the 3 Junior Teams progress into the VCE Team. A group of about 15 teachers works with each team of students. In this way the teachers and students get to know each other and the needs of individual students can be addressed.
Each team has its own classroom area and the staffroom and students' lockers are nearby. In Athletics and Swimming, the students compete in their teams.
Each team has a Team Leader and an Assistant Team Leader. If parents have a concern do not hesitate to contact these people.
